Cosmos: Art & Science

In the exhibition Cosmos: Art & Science at the Rijksmuseum Boerhaave, the visitor experiences that the fascination for the universe is within all cultures and all times. Scientists and artists have imagined heaven in countless ways over the centuries. With increasingly strong telescopes, scientists push the boundaries of the invisible more and more.

The cosmos has inspired scientists and artists for centuries. For the first time their shared fascination comes together in this exhibition. Astronomically inspired works of art, by Wassily Kandinsky and Eugène Brands, show off historic masterpieces such as the Leiden Aratea and moonstones from the Apollo 17 mission. Prof. Dr. Ewine van Dishoeck is a guest curator.

Studio Marleen Bos provided the spatial design for this exhibition. Commissioned by Marleen, I designed the graphics within this spatial design. Commissioned by Rijksmuseum Boerhaave, I designed the campaign image and the PR expressions for the exhibition.
